With these engine mounts, besides improved and increased engine control, you also get a more durable engine mount compared to the traditional oil-filled, which are often soft and torn.
Perfect for both street and track use.
Whether it's an everyday car or a track-car, the engine mounts can be tuned to suit. It comes with 4 insert pins which can be fitted into the mount whilst on the vehicle. With the pins fitted, it fills internal voids stiffening the mount by around 25%. This makes it ideal for improving the car for the occasional track day, and when finished the pins can be removed without suffering any excessive NVH.
Note: It will fit diesel models, however, there will be a noticeable increase in vibration at lower rpm levels.
Powerflex - Black Series- racing bushes are developed for track use, where performance is more important than comfort. The Black Serie bushes are about 25% stiffer than the purple Powerflex bushes which gives a more precise steering and handling - but less comfort due to the stiffness.
If you appreciate fantastic handling even when driving to the extreme, Powerflex is the solution. Powerflex bushes are made of a special type plastic (polyurethane) which lasts longer and is 25-30% harder than the material standard bushes are made of. It is not without reason that Powerflex has been used on racetracks for many years. Besides better handling, the tyre wear will be reduced because of the better bushes!
